This software provides users of Apple’s Final Cut Pro non-linear editing system with native, seamless support for the XDCAM and XDCAM EX family. Once installed, the software enables FCP users to mount Professional Discs into the Mac’s Finder by simply plugging in a Firewire/i.Link cable from an XDCAM camcorders or decks or by USB in the case of the PDW-U1 drive.

Proxy A/V content can be browsed directly, and the full quality native content imported into FCP. Edited sequences can be exported directly back onto a connected XDCAM disc
